Over the months of February and March this year, we surveyed the public in response to the Smokefree Whanganui 2017 survey and received an excellent result, with 148 replies

Viewpoint would like to thank everyone who provided feedback to this survey.

You can see a snapshot of community feedback in the image below.

One of the key messages received from the community was that you wanted to see an increase of smokefree public places in our district, in particular places where we eat and drink.

As a result, Viewpoint is asking the community whether you would be supportive of smokefree outdoor dining areas.
